Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Today we rode the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway from the floor of the Coachella Valley to near the top of the San Jacinto Peak. The trip takes about 10 mintues to take you up to a height of 2600 metres (8516 feet) where its about 25° C cooler than in the valley. The tram cars rotate slowly, offering riders a 360° panoramic view of Chino Canyon and the valley floor.
