Cher!!

When Celine Dion left the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace, she left a rather large void which has now been filled by, at various times, Bette Middler, Elton John and Cher. Having never seen Elton or Bette, these were my preferences, but alas, it was Cher performing the dates we were in town. I (Ben) was one of the lucky few who saw Cher at her last Brisbane concert a few years back when she declared it to be her last ever tour concert, EVER. I guess a residency at Vegas isn't really a tour.... Anyway, Cher will do what Cher will do and the extravaganza was half-time Cher singing with a gorgeous feast of dancers, lighting and staging spectactular and half time Cher changing costumes with old video clips playing. Never more than one and a half songs in the same outfit... and wig come to think of it.... But, you've got to give it to her, for a performer her age she still knows how to entertain....
