It all started here...

This is where the idea for the holiday started. I (Brad) showed Ben some pictures of Cedar Point. He said we should go there and just under 12 months later here we are.

After enduring an overnight flight from Honolulu to Chicago (and no sleep!), 3 hours layover, 1 hour flight to Cleveland and a 1 hour drive to Sandusky, we finally made it.

Priority was the Top Thill Dragster and it didn't disappoint. The most amazing ride we've ever been on. To quote the website:

"Riders begin their epic journey aboard this whopping 42-story screamer by securing themselves into ultra-cool trains that resemble top fuel dragsters. The train then moves into a "starting line" position, where it is launched forward, reaching 120 mph in approximately four seconds. The train then zooms straight up the 420-foot-tall hill on track that rotates 90 degrees, crests the coaster's apex and then free falls back to Earth. But hold on, this isn't your father's roller coaster. As the train races 400 feet to the ground, the track twists an unbelievable 270 degrees – what a rush!"

It was all over so fast but well worth the 45 minute wait.

Speaking of waits, we were there about 5 hours and only managed 5 rides. We were content though as we were so exhausted from the lack of sleep (and THE most disgusting "sausage on a stick", think dagwood dog soaked in lard for 30 years!).

Made it back to the hotel after only getting a little lost. I'm sure we drove through a suburb I saw on "Cops".
